2018 Half-Year Pass General Terms and Conditions

  • The Half-Year Pass is subject to these Terms and Conditions as well as the Rules and Regulations of Shanghai Disneyland (“Park”) which are set out on our website at www.shanghaidisneyresort.com (“Website”) and posted at the Park entrance. Half-Year Pass holders must respect these Terms and Conditions as well as the Park Rules and Regulations.
  • UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, THE HALF-YEAR PASS IS NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • THE HALF-YEAR PASS IS STRICTLY FOR THE PERSONAL USE OF THE INDIVIDUAL PASS HOLDER. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO REVOKE THE HALF-YEAR PASS, WITHOUT REFUND OR COMPENSATION: (A) IF THE HALF-YEAR PASS IS USED FOR PARK ADMISSION OR REDEMPTION OF BENEFITS BY ANY PERSON OTHER THAN THE GUEST WHOSE NAME IS PRINTED ON THE HALF-YEAR PASS; (B) IF THE HALF-YEAR PASS AND/OR ITS BENEFITS ARE USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES OR ARE MISUSED FOR OTHER PURPOSES; (C) FOR UNSAFE, ILLEGAL OR OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR; (D) FOR ANY OTHER VIOLATION OF THE PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS THAT MAY IMPEDE THE OPERATION OF THE PARK.
  • Each Guest may only own ONE Half-Year Pass in his/her name. Any additional Half-Year Passes owned by the same Guest will be rendered invalid.
  • The Half-Year Pass is valid from August 2, 2018 or the date of activation, and expires on February 4, 2019.
  • There are three types of the Half-Year Pass (All subject to restrictions specified on the “Half-Year Pass Calendar”):
    • Anyday Half-Year Pass (Except October 1 to October 7, 2018)
    • Weekday Half-Year Pass (Weekdays except October 1 to October 5, December 31, 2018 and January 1, 2019, with Saturday, September 29, Sunday September 30 and Saturday, December 29, 2018 included)
    • Sunday Half-Year Pass (all Sundays except October 7 and December 30, 2018)
    For eligible visit dates, please refer to the “Half-Year Pass Calendar” on the Shanghai Disney Resort official website.
  • On the days of restriction, the Half-Year Pass does not allow access to the Park. The days of restriction appear in documentation provided to you at the time of delivery of your Half-Year Pass. The days of restriction can also be found on our website and are subject to change. This Half-Year Pass does not guarantee Park access on days when the Park reaches capacity.
  • To activate the Half-Year Pass, the Pass holder must go to the Ticket Booth in person with the specified original ID credential and the order number. Chinese Mainland guests must provide their PRC Resident ID Card. Hong Kong and Macao guests must provide their Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or PRC Travel Document. Taiwan guests must provide their Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents or PRC Travel Document. Other guests must provide a valid foreign passport.
  • We will take a photo of you as proof of your identity. Your name and photograph will be associated with the Half-Year Pass, and cannot be changed.
  • All Half-Year Pass holders must follow the same Park entry procedure as other guests and follow the instructions of our cast members.
  • In order to guarantee the identity of the Half-Year Pass user and ensure its usage remains strictly personal, Guests are required to show the original ID credential used to activate the Half-Year Pass at the turnstiles when using the Half-Year Pass to enter the Park.
  • The Half-Year Pass allows access to the Park during Park operation hours (as published on our website or on any other support to the convenience of Shanghai Disney Resort) on corresponding days during the valid period.
  • The Half-Year Pass does not give access to the Park during special events that require a separate admission charge nor does it give free access to the parking lot, nor the Walt Disney Grand Theatre.
  • To request for re-issuance of a Half-Year Pass that is lost or stolen, the Pass holder must (i) come to the Park in person to complete and submit the reactivation application form at the Guest Services Window located outside the Park, and (ii) provide the original ID credential the Pass holder used to activate the Half-Year Pass, the original receipt of purchase and any other personal data as we may require. Once the application is submitted, the lost Half-Year Pass will be deactivated and can no longer be used. We will verify that the ID photo matches the guest who purchased the Pass before issuing a new Pass. Applications will be processed within three days. As with all ticket products, admission to Shanghai Disneyland is subject to the Park rules and regulations.
  • Half-Year Pass holders should keep their Half-Year Pass in good condition. If any information on the Half-Year Pass is altered or damaged, the Half-Year Pass will be rendered invalid. Under such circumstances, the Half-Year Pass holder should go to the Guest Services center for assistance.
  • We may from time to time change the operating hours of the Park or attractions, close the Park or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to the Park, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program, due to capacity, extreme weather, special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or if circumstances so required.
  • The Terms and Conditions are subject to change. We will provide a notice of any material changes to these Terms and Conditions via email, SMS text message or by posting the material changes on our website.
  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the availability of the Half-Year Pass program at any time.
  • We reserve the right to deny sale or revoke the privileges of the Half-Year Pass for guests who have violated the Park Rules and Regulations.
  • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Shanghai Disney Resort” or “we” means either or both of “Shanghai International Theme Park Company Limited” and “Shanghai International Theme Park and Resort Management Company Limited”.

Half-Year Pass Terms and Conditions for Previous Seasonal Pass Holders

  • Seasonal Pass holders from August 1, 2016 through August 1, 2018 may purchase the Half-Year Pass at a discounted rate through January 27, 2019. Renewed passholders can activate their Half-Year Pass starting from July 24, 2018, and can enjoy extra Park access (depending on the type of pass) from the date of activation to August 1, 2018. All passes are subject to the block out dates of the pass type. As a special bonus, and in addition to Sundays, all Sunday Half-Year Pass holders may activate their passes on the following Saturdays: July 28, August 4 and August 11, 2018, and can access the Park on the above dates of activation.
  • Previous Seasonal Pass holders must go to any of the ticket booths located at the Main Entrance of the Park in person and provide his/her original expired (or expiring) Seasonal Pass and specified original ID credential to activate the new Half-Year Pass. Chinese Mainland guests must provide their PRC Resident ID Card. Hong Kong and Macao guests must provide their Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or PRC Travel Document. Taiwan guests must provide their Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents or PRC Travel Document. Other guests must provide a valid foreign passport. We will verify the ID and the photo match the guest purchasing a new Half-Year Pass.
  • No changes may be made to the name printed on the original Seasonal Pass and the name must be the same for the new Half-Year Pass.
  • All Half-Year Passes will be valid through February 4, 2019, regardless of the actual date of purchase or activation.
  • Previous Seasonal Pass holders who purchase a new Half-Year Pass at a special discount must also follow the Half-Year Pass General Terms and Conditions.
