Shanghai Disney Resort Important Notice
Due to the current pandemic situation, Shanghai Disney Resort, including Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown and Wishing Star Park has been temporarily closed from Monday, March 21, 2022. The two resort hotels are also closed to the public.
There is currently no confirmed date for re-opening of our operations. We will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and in consultation with local authorities update our guests as soon as we have more information.
All ticket sales and hotel reservations have been suspended until the resort reopening date is announced. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide refunds or exchanges for all guests impacted during this period.

Ticket Refund and Exchanges
For Park Tickets from March 21, 2022 till the Park Reopening Day
Guests with dated tickets (including two-day tickets) within the park closure period (i.e., from March 21, 2022 till the park reopens) may choose to visit the park on any day within the six months from the park reopening day. Your tickets can be redeemed at the park entrance turnstiles with the original Government Identity Card or Travel Document that was used to purchase your original tickets on the day of your next visit, and reservation will not be required*. All guests will still need to register their visitation prior to entering the park. (Please note that an extended dated ticket will only include park admission upon redemption at the turnstile. Any other benefits bundled with the park admission will not be included. If you hold a dated ticket product that also includes other benefits, such as a meal coupon, you may choose to refund your ticket following the instruction below.)
If you cannot visit the park within the six months after our reopening, you can obtain a refund. For guests who have purchased their tickets (including two-day tickets) through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website, App, WeChat Account or the Resort Reservation Center, you can request a refund through the resort’s official app, and you will obtain the refund through the original purchase channel within 45 working days. For guests who have purchased the tickets through other official channels, please contact the original ticket purchase channel to request a refund, or follow the instructions at the end of this notice. We appreciate your patience while we process your refund request. Once you apply for a refund, your ticket will not be eligible for extension.
The terms and conditions above only apply to dated tickets. Guests holding a Shanghai Disneyland general admission tickets may contact your original purchase channel for any inquiries.
For Other Resort Products and Services
For guests who have purchased a Disney Concierge Service, Early Park Entry Pass, Disney PhotopPass related product or other dated products and services for Shanghai Disneyland during the park’s closure period through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website, App, WeChat Account or the Resort Reservation Center, you will obtain an automatic refund through the original purchase channel. For guests who have purchased a dated product and service through other official channels, please contact the original purchase channel to obtain a refund.
For guests who have booked resort hotels for the night during the closure period, you can contact the original purchase channel for enquiries.
For Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Holders
In appreciation of the understanding and support of our Annual Passholders since we carried out the enhanced pandemic control and prevention measures on March 12, the validity period of a Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass which is still valid on and after March 13, 2022, has been extended for 10 days. The validity of Annual Pass Benefits has been extended accordingly. The validity of renewed Annual Passes that have not been activated on March 13, 2022, will also be extended. The updated Annual Pass expiry date is available to view on the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App and WeChat Annual Pass Mini Program.
With the temporarily closure of Shanghai Disneyland beginning March 21, 2022, we may further adjust the Annual Pass validity extension plan as needed and will timely communicate with our Annual Pass holders.

Shanghai Disneyland Transitioned to a New Reservation Phase Starting August 24, 2020

Effective August 24, 2020, Shanghai Disneyland transitioned the Advanced Reservation Period to a new reservation phase, aiming to provide more flexibility for guests to plan and enjoy their park visit. To comply with regulatory directives, all guests, including Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders and infants under 3 years old or under 1.0 meter in height, are still required to make a reservation by submitting their visitation date and personal information to obtain a Shanghai Disneyland Reservation QR Code prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance.

Shanghai Disneyland Diamond Annual Pass, Gold Annual Pass and Silver Annual Pass Holders

As of August 24, 2020, Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass (Diamond Annual Pass, Gold Annual Pass and Silver Annual Pass) holders are no longer required to obtain a visitation spot or choose the arrival time of their visit in advance. The procedures for Annual Pass (Diamond Annual Pass, Gold Annual Pass and Silver Annual Pass) holders to visit the park are as follows:
  • Annual Pass holders are able to visit the park on any day falling under their eligible dates on the up-to-date Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar for different Pass types*;
  • Annual Pass holders need to make a reservation by submitting their visitation date and personal information through the resort’s official online platforms to obtain a Shanghai Disneyland Reservation QR Code prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance;
  • They can arrive and enter the park at any time during the park’s announced hours of operation on their selected visitation date;
  • Annual Pass holders can view a 90-day reservation calendar, allowing more flexibility to plan their visit and offering same day visit reservation.
  • Annual Pass holders will be provided with one reservation per visit per pass, and a new reservation will be able to be made once the current one is redeemed, cancelled or expired.

Diamond Pass, Gold Pass and Silver Pass holders New Reservation Procedures and Requirements

  • Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders who have redeemed their Annual Pass are required to select a visitation date and fill out the Annual Pass number and associated government ID prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance. Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders who have not yet redeemed their Annual Pass can make a reservation for the date of their first visit by using their Annual Pass’s order number and the government ID number that was used to purchase the Annual Pass.
  • To make the first registration, Annual Pass holders who have not yet redeemed their Annual Pass need to fill out their personal information. The information submitted when redeeming the Annual Pass must match the information and the government ID number provided when making the first registration. In cases where the Annual Pass holder's personal information differs, the Annual Pass holder will not be allowed to enter the park. Mainland China Annual Pass holders who have made a registration by using the order number, must redeem such Annual Pass online through Shanghai Disney Resort Official App before entering the park. If you have any questions during the Annual Pass Online Redemption, please call 400-180-0000 or visit the Shanghai Disneyland Main Entrance Ticket Booths or Guest Service for assistance. Annual Pass holders who are Hong Kong China, Macao China, Taiwan China guests, or other guests must redeem their Annual Pass onsite at the park. Please go to the Ticket Booth at the Main Entrance of the park in person with the specified original ID credential and the order number.
  • Each reservation includes a maximum of 5 Annual Pass holders. If an accompanying guest is an infant under the age of 3 years old or with a height of 1.0 meter and below on the day of their visit, his/her name and government ID and the Annual Pass holder’s mobile phone number are required for advanced reservation. Once successfully registered, no adding, deleting, or changing of an Annual Pass holder is permitted. All Annual Pass holders under the same reservation must enter the park at the same time.
  • Each order number can only be used to make a reservation for the Pass holder’s first-time visit. If some Annual Pass holder(s) under the same order have already redeemed their Annual Pass or used the order number to make a reservation, but others under the same order have not yet made a registration or redeemed their Annual Pass, they must redeem their Pass on-site first, and follow the Annual Pass holder (redeemed) Reservation Procedures and Requirements.
  • Only one registration per visit per pass is permitted. Annual Pass holders are unable to register their next visit until the current one is redeemed, cancelled or expired. The reservation status of the accompanying infant who is under the age of 3 years old or with a height of 1.0 meter and below on the day of their visit must be the same as the Annual Pass holder.
  • The current reservation calendar for Annual Pass holders is 90 days. Starting October 26, 2020, at 13:00 every day, Annual Pass holders are able to check the reservation calendar for 90 days. Reservation is subject to the eligible dates for different Pass types on the up-to-date Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar.
  • Guests under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 or older in order to enter the park.

Crystal Annual Pass and Sapphire Annual Pass Reservation Rules and Procedures:

Crystal Annual Pass and Sapphire Annual Pass holders must make a reservation from the Reservation Days on the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website (Click to register: https://shdr.cn/df ), App, Shanghai Disney Resort Official WeChat account or Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass WeChat Mini Program, and a Shanghai Disneyland Crystal Annual Pass or Sapphire Annual Pass Reservation QR Code will be issued to Pass holders who have successfully made a reservation. Reservations are subject to the quota limits on each Reservation Day. Please refer to the Reservation Days on the up-to-date Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar.

Crystal Annual Pass and Sapphire Annual Pass Reservation Procedures and Requirements are as follows:

  • Crystal Annual Pass or Sapphire Annual Pass holders who have redeemed their Annual Passes are required to input the Annual Pass number and associated valid government ID number to reserve a date of visit through the resort’s official online platforms prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance.   • The reservation window for the Crystal Annual Pass and Sapphire Annual Pass is 90 days. The reservation window will be updated at 13:00 on a daily basis.
  • Up to three successful reservations can be held by each Crystal Annual Pass or Sapphire Annual Pass holder within the 90-day reservation window.
  • Each reservation may include a maximum of five Pass holders with the same pass types who are all required to provide their names, mobile phone numbers, Annual Pass numbers and associated valid government ID numbers through the same account. The Crystal Annual Pass cannot be used to make a group reservation together with Sapphire Annual Pass.
  • If an accompanying guest is an infant under the age of 3 years old or with a height of 1.0 meter and below on the day of their visit (for whom no ticket is required), his/her name and government ID, and the Annual Pass holder’s mobile phone number are required to complete the reservation.
  • Once the group reservation is successfully completed, no adding, deleting, or changing of an Annual Pass holder is permitted. All Crystal Annual Pass or Sapphire Annual Pass holders under the same reservation must enter the park at the same time.
  • If there is a change of plan after a successful reservation, Crystal Annual Pass or Sapphire Annual Pass holders are able to change the reservation date or cancel their reservation 48 hours prior to 00:00 on the reserved visit day.
  • If Pass holders have five ‘no-show days’ within a 90-day window, penalties will be applied (penalties will be waived in instances where force majeure becomes a factor). If a Pass holder has five ‘no-show days’ within a 90-day period, reservation access will be blocked for 30 days, starting from the day after the fifth “no-show”. However, reservations that have been made before penalties are applied are still valid for use.
  • Reservations are subject to availability. It is not guaranteed that Crystal Annual Pass or Sapphire Annual Pass holders will be able to successfully make a reservation each time.
  • Guests under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 or older in order to enter the park.
