In the event of a cardiac emergency, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are accessible throughout the Resort for use by trained medical professionals.


AEDs for Cardiac Emergencies

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable medical device that can save the life of a person under sudden cardiac arrest. By issuing a strong electric current to the heart, it can restore a normal rhythm.

Who Can Use an AED?

Only a trained medical professional at Shanghai Disney Resort can use an AED in response to sudden cardiac arrest. If you or your family member is in need of an AED, please notify a Cast Member for immediate assistance.

AEDs are strategically located throughout Shanghai Disney Resort. Once you have entered Shanghai Disneyland, your Guide Map will indicate their exact locations.
