We continue to operate with limited daily capacity and to implement enhanced health and safety measures. Select attractions, live entertainment, restaurants and retail locations may not be available or will operate at reduced capacity. Guests are required to strictly follow the pandemic control measures. On arrival each guest must undergo a temperature check, display their green Shanghai Health QR Code, scan venue codes when entering the theme park and other designated locations, and during their visit wear masks and follow social distancing requirements. Required pandemic measures
Shanghai Disney Resort continues its enhanced health and safety measures, in accordance with the latest government regulations and guidance. All guests are advised to strictly follow these measures in support of a safe and happy experience for everyone visiting the resort.
- According to the latest direction from the new district pandemic prevention authority, all guests entering Shanghai Disneyland will be required to display their negative Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) taken within 48 hours (from result time), effective November 25, 2022. All guests entering other areas of Shanghai Disney Resort will continue to be required to display negative NAT taken within 72 hours (from result time), special groups such as children under three years old may be exempted from NAT screening. Guests are strongly recommended to register for their Shanghai Health QR Code via the Suishenban App, Weixin/WeChat or Alipay prior to their arrival. For guests without a smart phone, please bundle your QR code with a family member via the Suishenban App, Weixin/WeChat or Alipay, and an offline Suishenma, applied via the Government Online-Offline Shanghai (“Yiwangtongban”) platform, with valid NAT information will also be accepted. Guests using the offline Suishenma will be required to present it to our onsite Cast to scan and verify the information as well as to present a valid government ID at the same time;
- All persons who arrived in/returned to Shanghai within five days or less must strictly follow the “Further Enhancement of Health Management of Persons Arriving/Returning to Shanghai” measures issued by the Shanghai Municipal Pandemic Prevention and Control Leading Group on November 22, 2022. Based on these latest measures, guests who arrived in/returned to Shanghai within five days or less and plan to visit Shanghai Disney Resort:
1. may visit Shanghai Disneyland and enjoy the majority of park experiences, except for dining in indoor restaurants. These guests may only enjoy food and beverage available at outdoor vending locations;
2. may visit the public areas of Disneytown, but are not permitted to enter indoor restaurant or retail locations; Guests may however order food and beverages at the entrance to select restaurants;
3. may visit and stay at the two resort hotels, but are not permitted to enter restaurants, retail locations or recreational facilities including the hotel swimming pool, gym or play rooms. These guests may however order room service to enjoy our in-room hotel food and beverages offerings.
4. are not permitted to attend banquet or catered event hosted at the resort hotels.
A kind reminder that it is the responsibility of each guest to carefully monitor the latest government-issued pandemic prevention and control measures to ensure they are fully compliant with all guidelines.

- According to the government guidelines, Guests and any accompanying persons are not allowed to enter Shanghai Disney Resort if any guest in their party holds a red Shanghai Health QR Code (“Suishenma”);
- All guests will also be required to scan the “Venue Code” and present a green code to Cast, or present the Shanghai Health QR Code to onsite Cast for scanning to confirm the validity, upon entering Shanghai Disney Resort. Additional scanning of the Venue Code may also be required upon entering different locations across the resort;
- According to The Covid-19 Prevention and Control Guidelines for A-level Scenic Spots in Shanghai (Second Edition of 2022), all guests who have a history of overseas travel and residence within 8 days prior to their visits or have a history of travel or residence in the counties (cities, districts or banners) where high-risks areas are located within 7 days prior to their visits may not be allowed to enter Shanghai Disney Resort.
- All hotel guests, will be required to present their green Shanghai Health QR Code, a negative Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) taken within 72 hours (from result time) and to complete the scanning of the “Venue Code” upon entering the hotels at Shanghai Disney resort each and every time, special groups such as children under three years old may be exempted from negative NAT screening. Only guests who have completed scanning of the “Venue Code” with a green Shanghai Health QR Code and have presented a negative NAT taken within 72 hours will be allowed to enter the hotels at the resort. In order to comply with government guidelines for tourism and hospitality industry, proof of a negative NAT taken within 72 hours is mandatory (we are not able to accept proof of 24 hour NAT sampling in lieu of a valid negative NAT result). Additionally, all guests are required to present their green Telecommunication Data Based Travel Itinerary Card (Travel Itinerary Card) and complete the Health Declaration Form during check-in at the Front Desk and Magic Kingdom Lounge. If you are not able to complete the scanning of the “Venue Code”, or are unable to present a green Shanghai Health QR Code, a negative NAT taken within 72 hours, a green Travel Itinerary Card, or if you have traveled to one of the high-risk areas affected by COVID-19 in the past 7 days, you may not able to check in. In accordance with local government directives, if you develop a fever or a fever with the following symptoms: cough, cough up sputum, runny nose, sore throat, chest aches & tension during your stay at one of our resort hotels, you will be asked to seek medical attention at a designated medical clinic.
- All locations operate at controlled capacity during this period;
- All guests will continue to be required to undergo temperature screening upon entering Shanghai Disney Resort;
- All guests will be required to wear masks during their entire visit to the resort in both indoor and outdoor settings, except when dining;
- All guests will be required to strictly follow social distancing requirements, and a safe distance should be kept while queuing, watching outdoor performances or dining;
- All guests will be encouraged to maintain good personal hygiene;
- All Cast Members at Shanghai Disney Resort, tenant employees at Disneytown and third-party vendors will be required to undergo regular NAT and antigen tests as well as conduct temperature screening and recording following government requirements;
- Sanitization and disinfection will be increased and strengthened throughout the resort.

The Definitions of Standard Pricing and Special Pricing

  • Children: Aged 3 to 11 years old (both inclusive) or with a height above 1.0 meter and up to 1.4 meters on the date of park visitation
  • Seniors: Aged 60 years old and above on the date of park visitation
  • Guests with disabilities: Guests with valid disability certificates

Free park admission:

  • Children under the age of 3 years old or with a height of 1.0 meter and below on the day of their visit

Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Products Special Pricing

  • Children: Aged 3 to 11 years old (both inclusive) or with a height above 1.0 meter and up to 1.4 meters on the date of Annual Pass redemption

An “age” mentioned above is deemed to have been reached on the date corresponding to the date of birth. Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 years old or older to enter the park.

In order to enjoy free admission or the children ticket discount based on age (as set forth above), guardians must bring and present an acceptable valid original government ID with a photo and the date of birth of the children (“ID Certificate”) on the day they intend to enter Shanghai Disneyland.

For Mainland China children guests, examples of acceptable ID Certificates are:

  • PRC Resident ID Card
  • PRC Social Security Card (with photos)
  • Passport

For Mainland China children guests, examples of unacceptable ID Certificates are:

  • Hu Kou Bu (photos not available)
  • Certificate of Birth (photos not available)
  • Student ID (not a government issued ID)

For other children guests, the only acceptable ID Certificates are:

  • For Hong Kong China and Macao China guests: Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, PRC Travel Document or Mainland Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents

Guests who fail to present valid disability certificates and/or who cannot secure digital verification of their disability certificates may need to pay the difference of Standard ticket/Annual Pass price to enter the park.

Crystal Annual Pass

Key Features:

  • The sale of Crystal Annual Passes are temporarily suspended (including the new sales of Crystal Annual Passes and upgrades from designated dated park tickets to Crystal Annual Passes). Current benefits for existing Crystal Annual Pass holders will not be affected. Existing Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders can still renew to Crystal Annual Pass as normal, so long as the current Annual Pass is within the 60-day renewal window, up to and including the expiry date. THE SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND ANNUAL PASS IS VALID FOR 365 DAYS (“VALID PERIOD”) STARTING 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF PURCHASE. THE PASS VALIDITY WILL NOT BE IMPACTED BY THE DATE OF THE PASS REDEMPTION OR THE DATE OF THE GUEST’S FIRST ENTRY. THE SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND ANNUAL PASS HOLDER CAN VISIT SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND FROM THE DATE OF THE PASS REDEMPTION, BUT IS STILL SUBJECT TO THE PASS CALENDAR.
UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, THE SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND ANNUAL PASS IS NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE. THE SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND ANNUAL PASS AND BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH IT ARE STRICTLY FOR THE PERSONAL USE OF THE INDIVIDUAL PASS HOLDER. We will take a photo of you as proof of your identity. Your name and photograph will be associated with the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass, and cannot be changed. In order to guarantee the identity of the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holder and ensure its usage remains strictly personal, Guests are required to show the original ID credential used to activate the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass at the turnstiles when using the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass to enter the Park. The Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass does not give access to the Park during special events that require a separate admission charge, nor does it give free access to the parking lot, or the Walt Disney Grand Theatre. We may from time to time change the operating hours of the Park or attractions, close the Park or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to the Park, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program due to capacity, extreme weather, special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or if circumstances so require. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Shanghai Disney Resort” or “we” means either or both of “Shanghai International Theme Park Company Limited” and “Shanghai International Theme Park and Resort Management Company Limited”.

Guests will be able to see the following six months of the pass calendar (including the current month). The pass calendar for the new month will be released in the middle of each month. The “Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar” is subject to change in instances where the government announces adjustments to holidays and non-working days. We may restrict the number of persons with access to the park due to capacity.
