Due to the current pandemic situation, Shanghai Disney Resort, including Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown and Wishing Star Park has been temporarily closed from Monday, March 21, 2022. The two resort hotels are also closed to the public.
There is currently no confirmed date for re-opening of our operations. We will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and in consultation with local authorities update our guests as soon as we have more information.
All ticket sales and hotel reservations have been suspended until the resort reopening date is announced. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide refunds or exchanges for all guests impacted during this period.

Ticket Refund and Exchanges
For Park Tickets from March 21, 2022 till the Park Reopening Day
Guests with dated tickets (including two-day tickets) within the park closure period (i.e., from March 21, 2022 till the park reopens) may choose to visit the park on any day within the six months from the park reopening day. Your tickets can be redeemed at the park entrance turnstiles with the original Government Identity Card or Travel Document that was used to purchase your original tickets on the day of your next visit, and reservation will not be required*. All guests will still need to register their visitation prior to entering the park. (Please note that an extended dated ticket will only include park admission upon redemption at the turnstile. Any other benefits bundled with the park admission will not be included. If you hold a dated ticket product that also includes other benefits, such as a meal coupon, you may choose to refund your ticket following the instruction below.)
If you cannot visit the park within the six months after our reopening, you can obtain a refund. For guests who have purchased their tickets (including two-day tickets) through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website, App, WeChat Account or the Resort Reservation Center, you can request a refund through the resort’s official app, and you will obtain the refund through the original purchase channel within 45 working days. For guests who have purchased the tickets through other official channels, please contact the original ticket purchase channel to request a refund, or follow the instructions at the end of this notice. We appreciate your patience while we process your refund request. Once you apply for a refund, your ticket will not be eligible for extension.
The terms and conditions above only apply to dated tickets. Guests holding a Shanghai Disneyland general admission tickets may contact your original purchase channel for any inquiries.
For Other Resort Products and Services
For guests who have purchased a Disney Concierge Service, Early Park Entry Pass, Disney PhotopPass related product or other dated products and services for Shanghai Disneyland during the park’s closure period through the Shanghai Disney Resort Official Website, App, WeChat Account or the Resort Reservation Center, you will obtain an automatic refund through the original purchase channel. For guests who have purchased a dated product and service through other official channels, please contact the original purchase channel to obtain a refund.

For Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Holders
In appreciation of the understanding and support of our Annual Passholders since we carried out the enhanced pandemic control and prevention measures on March 12, the validity period of a Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass which is still valid on and after March 13, 2022, has been extended for 10 days. The validity of Annual Pass Benefits has been extended accordingly. The validity of renewed Annual Passes that have not been activated on March 13, 2022, will also be extended. The updated Annual Pass expiry date is available to view on the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App and WeChat Annual Pass Mini Program.
With the temporarily closure of Shanghai Disneyland beginning March 21, 2022, we may further adjust the Annual Pass validity extension plan as needed and will timely communicate with our Annual Pass holders.

Effective August 24, 2020, Shanghai Disneyland transitioned the Advanced Reservation Period to a new reservation phase, aiming to provide more flexibility for guests to plan and enjoy their park visit. To comply with regulatory directives, all guests, including Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders and infants under 3 years old or under 1.0 meter in height, are still required to make a reservation by submitting their visitation date and personal information to obtain a Shanghai Disneyland Reservation QR Code prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance.

Before your entry, our Cast Member will measure your body temperature and please show your Health QR Code and Telecommunication Data Based Travel Itinerary Card (Travel Itinerary Card). Please bring the original copy of your ID document (Mainland China guests must provide their PRC Resident ID Card. Hong Kong China and Macao China guests must provide their Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, PRC Travel Document or Mainland Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents. Taiwan China guests must provide their Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, PRC Travel Document or Mainland Residence Permit for Taiwan Residents. Other guests must provide a valid foreign passport.), the ID number of which will be collected by Shanghai Disney Resort at the time of entry. If you refuse to provide your identity and contact information as provided in this form before your visit or if you are in such a situation under which you are not allowed to enter Shanghai Disneyland according to the law or the requirements of the government authorities or the Park Rules and Regulations, you may be refused entry into the park during this epidemic period.

On May 11 2020, the majority of Shanghai Disneyland’s attractions, rides, some shows and shopping and dining locations resumed operations, with controlled attendance. To accommodate social distancing, beloved Disney Characters are appearing in the park in a new way, as they make appearances in each of the themed lands, greeting and welcoming everyone back to Shanghai Disneyland. Please check the resort’s official website and app for the availability of attractions and entertainment.

Get a Disney Standby Pass to help reduce wait times and arrange your park visit with ease with a tap of your finger!

Disney Standby Pass is an innovative free online reservation tool launched by Shanghai Disney Resort to help guests reduce physical wait time in attraction queues, and enhance the overall park experience.

The specific dates, time periods and attractions and entertainment whereby Disney Standby Pass applies will be adjusted based on operational needs. For the time period when Disney Standby pass is applicable, guests need to hold a Disney Standby Pass to enter the standby queue at corresponding attractions and entertainment experiences. Outside of these hours, Disney Standby Pass will not be required.

Disney Standby Pass will not necessarily be required every day or for every applicable attraction and entertainment. Please check the Official App and tap on “Get Standby Pass” under “Make Plans” to see if Disney Standby Passes are required on the day of your visit.

Guests who do not have a smart phone or have other difficulties in obtaining Disney Standby Pass may get assistance at Guest Services locations throughout the park.

The Definitions of Standard Pricing and Special Pricing

  • Children: Aged 3 to 11 years old (both inclusive) or with a height above 1.0 meter and up to 1.4 meters on the date of park visitation
  • Seniors: Aged 60 years old and above on the date of park visitation
  • Guests with disabilities: Guests with valid disability certificates

Free park admission:

  • Children under the age of 3 years old or with a height of 1.0 meter and below on the day of their visit

Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Products Special Pricing

  • Children: Aged 3 to 11 years old (both inclusive) or with a height above 1.0 meter and up to 1.4 meters on the date of Annual Pass redemption

An “age” mentioned above is deemed to have been reached on the date corresponding to the date of birth. Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 years old or older to enter the park.

In order to enjoy free admission or the children ticket discount based on age (as set forth above), guardians must bring and present an acceptable valid original government ID with a photo and the date of birth of the children (“ID Certificate”) on the day they intend to enter Shanghai Disneyland.

For Mainland China children guests, examples of acceptable ID Certificates are:

  • PRC Resident ID Card
  • PRC Social Security Card (with photos)
  • Passport

For Mainland China children guests, examples of unacceptable ID Certificates are:

  • Hu Kou Bu (photos not available)
  • Certificate of Birth (photos not available)
  • Student ID (not a government issued ID)

For other children guests, the only acceptable ID Certificates are:

Guests who fail to present valid disability certificates and/or who cannot secure digital verification of their disability certificates may need to pay the difference of Standard ticket/Annual Pass price to enter the park.

Guests that do not meet the special pricing or free admission criteria (as set forth above) must purchase Standard tickets to visit Shanghai Disneyland.

Crystal Annual Pass

The Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass does not give access to the Park during special events that require a separate admission charge, nor does it give free access to the parking lot, or the Walt Disney Grand Theatre. We may from time to time change the operating hours of the Park or attractions, close the Park or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to the Park, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program due to capacity, extreme weather, special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or if circumstances so require. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Shanghai Disney Resort” or “we” means either or both of “Shanghai International Theme Park Company Limited” and “Shanghai International Theme Park and Resort Management Company Limited”.

Use this calendar to check admission dates and blockout dates for each type of Annual Pass.

Guests will be able to see the following six months of the pass calendar (including the current month). The pass calendar for the new month will be released in the middle of each month. The “Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar” is subject to change in instances where the government announces adjustments to holidays and non-working days. We may restrict the number of persons with access to the park due to capacity.
