Shanghai Disney Resort is currently in a reservation phase that requires all guests, including Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders and infants under 3 years old or under 1.0 meter in height, to make a reservation by submitting their visitation date and personal information to obtain a Shanghai Disneyland Reservation QR Code prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance (Please note, Crystal Annual Pass holders must make a reservation in accordance with the Crystal Annual Pass Reservation Rules and Procedures). Shanghai Disney Resort is operating normally with enhanced health and safety measures in place. However, if you have purchased a dated ticket or have booked a room at one of the resort hotels, and your plans have changed due to the latest COVID-19 situation, please contact your original ticket purchase channel to arrange ticket changes or refund, or send your enquiries via email to shdr.yuding@disney.com or shdr.yuding07@disney.com, and you will be contacted by a representative from the resort to provide necessary support.

Please note: To ensure each guest’s health and safety and to comply with the law and requests from the government authorities, all guests (including children) are required to register their information (Click to register: https://shdr.cn/df) before visiting Shanghai Disneyland. Effective August 24, 2020, Shanghai Disneyland transitioned the Advanced Reservation Period to a new reservation phase, aiming to provide more flexibility for guests to plan and enjoy their park visit. To comply with regulatory directives, all guests, including Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders and infants under 3 years old or under 1.0 meter in height, are still required to make a reservation by submitting their visitation date and personal information to obtain a Shanghai Disneyland Reservation QR Code prior to their arrival at the park’s Main Entrance.

Before your entry, our Cast Member will measure your body temperature and please show your Health QR Code and Telecommunication Data Based Travel Itinerary Card (Travel Itinerary Card). Please bring the original copy of your ID document (for Mainland China guests, please bring your PRC Resident ID Card. For Hong Kong and Macao guests, please bring a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or PRC Travel Document. For Taiwan Guests, please bring a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents or PRC Travel Document. For other guests, please bring a valid foreign passport), the ID number of which will be collected by Shanghai Disney Resort at the time of entry. If you refuse to provide your identity and contact information as provided in this form before your visit or if you are in such a situation under which you are not allowed to enter Shanghai Disneyland according to the law or the requirements of the government authorities or the Park Rules and Regulations, you may be refused entry into the park during this epidemic period.

On May 11 2020, the majority of Shanghai Disneyland’s attractions, rides, some shows and shopping and dining locations resumed operations, with controlled attendance. To accommodate social distancing, beloved Disney Characters are appearing in the park in a new way, as they make appearances in each of the themed lands, greeting and welcoming everyone back to Shanghai Disneyland. Please check the resort’s official website and app for the availability of attractions and entertainment.

Disney Standby Pass is an innovative free online reservation tool launched by Shanghai Disney Resort to help guests reduce physical wait time in attraction queues, and enhance the overall park experience.

The specific dates, time periods and attractions and entertainment whereby Disney Standby Pass applies will be adjusted based on operational needs. For the time period when Disney Standby pass is applicable, guests need to hold a Disney Standby Pass to enter the standby queue at corresponding attractions and entertainment experiences. Outside of these hours, Disney Standby Pass will not be required.

Disney Standby Pass will not necessarily be required every day or for every applicable attraction and entertainment. Please check the Official App and tap on “Get Standby Pass” under “Make Plans” to see if Disney Standby Passes are required on the day of your visit.

Guests who do not have a smart phone or have other difficulties in obtaining Disney Standby Pass may get assistance at Guest Services locations throughout the park.

The Definitions of Standard Pricing and Special Pricing

Special pricing:

  • Children: Aged 3 to 11 years old (both inclusive) or with a height above 1.0 meter and up to 1.4 meters on the day of their visit to the park
  • Seniors: Aged 65 years old and above
  • Disabled: Guests with valid disability certificates

Free park admission:

  • Children under the age of 3 years old or with a height of 1.0 meter and below on the day of their visit.

An “age” mentioned above is deemed to have been reached on the date corresponding to the date of birth. Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 years old or older to enter the park.

Disabled guests will be required to present their original valid government ID/Travel Document/Passport information and the original valid certificate or proof of disability, and then pass the “ID Query” page of “China Disabled Person’s Federation” WeChat Official Account to verify their disability certificate at the Main Entrance before entering the park. Guests who fail to present valid disability certificates and/or who cannot secure digital verification of their disability certificates may need to pay the difference of Standard Ticket/Annual Pass price to enter the park.

The terms of the new definitions are also applicable to Child Annual Passes purchased after October 8, 2019 accordingly.

In order to enjoy free admission or the ticket discount based on age (as set forth above), guardians must bring and present a valid original government ID with a photo and the date of birth of the children (“ID Certificate”) that is acceptable to us on the day they intend to enter Shanghai Disneyland.

For mainland China guests, examples of acceptable ID Certificates are:

  • PRC Resident ID Card
  • PRC Social Security Card
  • Passport

For mainland China guests, examples of unacceptable ID Certificates are:

  • Hu Kou Bu (photos not available)
  • Certificate of Birth (photos not available)
  • Student ID (not a government issued ID)

For other guests, the only acceptable ID Certificates are:

  • For Hong Kong China and Macao China guests: Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or PRC Travel Document
  • For Taiwan China guests: Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents or PRC Travel Document
  • For other guests: Foreign passport

  • Subject to the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar and quota limits, offers a minimum of 256 days for park entry reservation ("Reservation Days") during the Pass validity period. Pass holders are required to choose a visit date from the Reservation Days and make a reservation before visiting the park. Only those holders who have successfully made a reservation will be able to enter the park. Reservations are subject to the quota limits on each Reservation Day.

In order to guarantee the identity of the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holder and ensure its usage remains strictly personal, Guests are required to show the original ID credential used to activate the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass at the turnstiles when using the Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass to enter the Park. The Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass does not give access to the Park during special events that require a separate admission charge, nor does it give free access to the parking lot, or the Walt Disney Grand Theatre. We may from time to time change the operating hours of the Park or attractions, close the Park or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to the Park, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program due to capacity, extreme weather, special events, to ensure safety, security or order, or if circumstances so require. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Shanghai Disney Resort” or “we” means either or both of “Shanghai International Theme Park Company Limited” and “Shanghai International Theme Park and Resort Management Company Limited”.

Use this calendar to check admission dates and blockout dates for each type of Annual Pass.

Guests will be able to see the following six months of the pass calendar (including the current month). The pass calendar for the new month will be released in the middle of each month. The “Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass Calendar” is subject to change in instances where the government announces adjustments to holidays and non-working days. We may restrict the number of persons with access to the park due to capacity.
