Zootopia has officially opened at Shanghai Disneyland on December 20. As we continue to manage maximum capacity for each area of our resort, and in anticipation of high demand to visit Zootopia during its opening period, please understand that admission to Zootopia or its new attraction “Zootopia: Hot Pursuit” may not be secured for every guest who enters Shanghai Disneyland. However, guests will be able to encounter multiple new experiences with a Zootopia touch throughout the park, including decoration, entertainment, food & beverage and merchandise.Please also note that overnight queuing for entry to Shanghai Disneyland on any day is not permitted. Guests are encouraged to plan their trip accordingly.
In the opening phase, we expect that pauses and brief downtimes may occur from time to time in the new attraction “Zootopia: Hot Pursuit”. Downtimes may occur for a variety of reasons due to the complexity of the ride system and built-in safety features, based on industry requirements and best practices. In the event of downtime, guests will be required to evacuate according to onsite cast members' instructions. Operation of the attraction will be resumed after the completion of all necessary procedures. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our guests during this opening period.

The Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program, introduced by Shanghai Disney Resort, is designed to express gratitude to its members by providing benefits. Shanghai Disney Resort may make adjustments to the Membership Program from time to time. For detailed information, please refer to the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels, such as the Shanghai Disney Resort Official App (“SHDR App”), the Official WeChat account and WeChat Mini-programs (collectively “WeChat Platform”) and Website (“Site”).
Before registering your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account, please carefully read the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Terms and Conditions ('Terms and Conditions') and ensure that you fully understand all the provisions in the Terms and Conditions. By registering as a Shanghai Disney Resort Member, you acknowledge that you have comprehensively understood all the provisions stated in the Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. 1. Consent
During the process of registering your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account, when you click the button on the relevant page or use any other method acceptable to Shanghai Disney Resort, it will be deemed that you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in These Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions or any parts hereof, please do not register your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account and immediately close the relevant windows.
2. Registration and Use of a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account
A. Registration of a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account
You may register your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account through the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels (for example, the SHDR App, WeChat Platform, Site) or a channel owned/operated by a third-party partner (“Partner”) officially authorized by Shanghai Disney Resort.
You will become a Member on the date when you successfully register a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account (“Account Registration Date”).
B. Provision of Personal Information
When registering a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account through the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels (for example, the SHDR App, WeChat Platform, Site), you agree to provide us with your personal information, or you agree that we can receive the accurate and complete information necessary for your Account registration from a Partner (under the circumstance that you register a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account by using an account that you have already registered with such Partner and the information under that account). You agree to maintain and update your information in a timely manner, and ensure that the information is accurate, up-to-date, and complete. Please check the Shanghai Disney Resort Privacy Policy to learn about how we process and protect your personal information.
C. Use of a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account
You may use your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account through the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels (for example, the SHDR App, WeChat Platform, Site). The functions of the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account that are available through the above channels are subject to the actual functions that are open at that time.
D. Security of a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account
After you register your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account, you need to keep your account information secure. You may not sell, transfer, or lend your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account to a third person, nor may you share any account information with a third person. Unless otherwise mandated by applicable laws and regulations, you are responsible for all activities and actions that occur to your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account.
E. Consent to Receive Membership Notices
Please note that when you confirm your registration of your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account or join the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership, you also agree that Shanghai Disney Resort may, from time to time, send you membership notices regarding our operations or services through App notification, email, or SMS.
Shanghai Disney Resort will send you promotions, products, and other relevant information through App notification, email, or SMS when you explicitly consent to receiving marketing-related membership notices. You may choose whether to receive marketing-related membership notices from Shanghai Disney Resort, and you may cancel or opt out of such marketing messages at any time. For detailed information about marketing messages, please refer to the Shanghai Disney Resort Privacy Policy.
F. Personalized Recommendation
Shanghai Disney Resort provides personalized recommendation services to its members. We may show or recommend promotional content, products, and other relevant information (for example, discounts, events) that may be of interest to you based on your personal information.
If you do not wish to receive personalized recommendations, you can manage the personalized recommendation service at any time via the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels (for example, the SHDR App, WeChat Mini-program). 3. Shanghai Disney Resort Members’ Rights and Benefits
A. Rights and Benefits:
Shanghai Disney Resort members have the opportunity to enjoy membership benefits (for example, members who fill in their birthday information have the opportunity to receive birthday promotions) as well as other activity benefits (for example, other marketing activities from time to time where members may have the opportunity to receive extra benefits).
B. Use and Adjustment of Rights and Benefits:
The aforementioned Shanghai Disney Resort Membership rights and benefits are exclusively applicable through the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels (for example, the SHDR App, WeChat Platform, Site). Some rights and benefits may have a limited validity period and may be adjusted from time to time. For further information, please refer to the rules of the respective benefit-related activities and the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels.
4. Termination of a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account
A. Termination of Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account by Members
You may deregister your membership account on SHDR Site, SHDR App or SHDR WeChat Platform in the account settings at any time, and we will delete such an account as soon as practicable. No matter if you log into the SHDR Site, SHDR App or SHDR WeChat Platform, you may enter your personal page and click “Account Settings-Delete Account”.
B. Termination of Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account by Shanghai Disney Resort
If you fail to comply with These Terms and Conditions, or you use your Membership Account in violation of any applicable laws or regulations, Shanghai Disney Resort may terminate your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account immediately.
C. Consequences of Termination of Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account
When your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account is terminated, you will no longer be able to enjoy any membership rights and benefits. To the extent as permitted by the applicable laws and regulations, you will not be able to get any refund or compensation.
5. Amendments
A. From time to time, Shanghai Disney Resort may amend These Terms and Conditions to provide you with better services and reflect updates to laws and policies. Under such circumstance, Shanghai Disney Resort will notify you in advance via member communications or publish the amended Terms and Conditions through its official channels (for example, SHDR App, WeChat Platform, or Site), except when Shanghai Disney Resort is unable to do so pursuant to the applicable laws or regulations. The amended Terms and Conditions will take effect on the effective date set forth therein. You should periodically log in to the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels to review These Terms and Conditions for amendments. If you do not agree to the amended terms and conditions, you may contact Shanghai Disney Resort official customer service (Customer Service Hotline: 400-180-0000) before the effective date set forth in the amended Terms and Conditions to provide feedback. If your feedback is accepted, we will consider adjusting the relevant terms and conditions accordingly.
B. If you use your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account on or after the effective date set forth in the amended Terms and Conditions, you are hereby deemed to have agreed to and accepted the amended terms and conditions.
C. If you do not agree to the amended terms and conditions, you should stop using your Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account from the effective date as stipulated under the amended Terms and Conditions. Alternatively, you may apply to Shanghai Disney Resort to terminate your Membership Account in accordance with the termination provisions for such accounts, before the amended Terms and Conditions take effect.
6. Termination of Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program
A. Shanghai Disney Resort may decide to terminate the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program. If Shanghai Disney Resort decides to terminate the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program, Shanghai Disney Resort will notify you in advance via member communications or make an announcement on Shanghai Disney Resort official channels (for example, the SHDR App, WeChat Platform, Site), except when Shanghai Disney Resort is unable to do so pursuant to any applicable laws or regulations. The Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program will terminate on the date as stated in the notice or announcement. You should periodically log in to the Shanghai Disney Resort official channels to see whether the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program has been or will be terminated.
B. Upon receiving the notice or announcement from Shanghai Disney Resort regarding the termination of Membership Program, it is advisable for you to honor your benefits in a timely and reasonable manner before the termination date. Once Shanghai Disney Resort terminates the Membership Program, your Membership Account will be terminated concurrently, and you will no longer be able to enjoy any membership rights and benefits. To the extent as permitted by the applicable laws and regulations, you will not be able to get any refund or compensation.
C. Except as stipulated in this article and the applicable laws and regulations, Shanghai Disney Resort does not take any other obligation or responsibility for the termination of the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of China.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of this Terms and Conditions or relating to the Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Program, a Shanghai Disney Resort Membership Account shall first be settled through friendly consultations between the parties to such dispute, controversy, or claim. If no settlement can be reached through friendly consultation, such dispute, controversy or claim shall be submitted to the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“SHIAC”) for arbitration in accordance with its arbitration rules then in effect. The arbitral award is final and binding upon all parties.
