Required health and safety measures
Shanghai Disney Resort continues its health and safety measures, in accordance with government regulations and guidance. All guests are advised to strictly follow these measures in support of a safe and happy experience for everyone visiting the resort.
- Guests are encouraged to wear masks properly at indoor locations, queue lines, crowded outdoor areas, meet Disney characters and in transportation;
- All guests will be required to strictly follow social distancing requirements, and a safe distance should be kept while queuing, watching outdoor performances or dining;
- All guests will be encouraged to maintain good personal hygiene;
- Sanitization and disinfection will continue to be implemented throughout the resort.

Due to high demand, Shanghai Disney Resort parking lots will be at or near full capacity during the weekends and holidays. Guests visiting Shanghai Disneyland and Disneytown are advised to take the metro, taxi or other public transportation.

Guide Dogs

Trained guide dogs are welcome in most locations throughout Shanghai Disney Resort.

Overview of Guidelines

Guide dogs must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. To ride attractions with your guide dog, please follow the same boarding entrance as Guests who use wheelchairs.

Due to the nature of some attractions, guide dogs may not be permitted to ride. At these locations, please ask a Cast Member about available options, including Rider Switch with a member of your party.

Additionally, guide dogs are allowed at most entertainment and Character Greeting experiences. For more information, please ask the nearest Cast Member.

Please note that Cast Members are not authorized to handle guide dogs.

Relief Areas

Limited relief areas are available for guide dogs when visiting Shanghai Disneyland and Shanghai Disney Resort. For information on how to access these relief areas, please ask a Cast Member.

Visiting Resort Hotels

Guests can also be accompanied by guide dogs in all common areas of the Toy Story Hotel and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, except at King Triton Pool. Please check with the hotel Front Desk to inquire about the designated areas for guide dogs.
